Mind Over Matter: Overcoming Limitation

Our beliefs, thought processes, perspectives and mindsets can influence our physical reality. From the friends we hang around to the T.V. shows we watch, we are constantly manifesting the reality of which we subjectively experience. It is very important to be self-aware to be able to connect with your higher self, for then you can see past the illusion of limitation. Here are some ways of overcoming limitations- on a mental and physical scale.

#1) Follow up thoughts & ideas with action

Do you or have you ever had a cool idea for something, but feel that there is something stopping you from seeing that idea all the way through? It could be that you are setting a limitation on yourself. This is one of the biggest traps we all have fallen in at some point in time. As time goes on, that idea collects more and more dust, until it is either forgotten, or it’s pushed to the back of your mind.to prevent this, you must take action as soon as you have that idea pop into your head. The best way to do this is to invest some time  (a day or two at the very least) into researching  whatever it may be that your idea is. Research is excellent because once the time comes to bring that idea to life, you aren’t jumping in feeling lost, confused, and impatient.  If a challenge comes up, it can be seen as a growing experience and less so of a setback.

#2) Be able to change your mindset

If not the most useful skill to learn, being able to change your mindset is one of the best skills to learn. This skill follows you wherever you go, and it can be used in ANY situation, circumstance, or scenario! Being able to change your mindset is a skill that comes down to a few things. Having an open mind, patience, understanding, and empathy all come together to create an entirely new mindset-one that is completely adaptable. With your ability to change your mindset, success is understood completely, judgement is non-existent, and most of all you bring so much value to the lives of everyone you come in contact with. Your skill is absolutely life changing to say the very least.  Imagine what you are truly capable of! don’t limit yourself because of your core beliefs or perspectives. adapt them all for an unparalleled perception of reality!

#3) Don’t victimize yourself

I was stuck in this stage basically all of my life. For all of my problems or issues, I’d blame the circumstance, scenario, location, other person-I’d blame anything and everything but myself. I did not stop for a second and think, “Why do I whine and complain about everything”? “Why do I blame everyone for everything that goes wrong”? I continued to live my life peachy keen until I started a business with my best friend. There were lots of dead ends and challenges, and as I did in the past I shut down and blamed him, the business, and my circumstances for why nothing was going anywhere. It was then that I had a sudden realization. It all had come to me at once! I had realized that the reason everything seemed chaotic was because of ME. I didn’t take responsibility for myself. I had been blaming everyone but myself for my unhappiness and my frustration. I had two choices- I could either sit here and continue to bitch, whine and pout while not ever progressing  or growing, or I could bite the bullet, stop getting into my emotions, and step up to the plate and take full responsibility for my actions, thoughts, and reactions. The moral of the story is this: Don’t victimize yourself. You aren’t hurting anyone but yourself, and you make progression and growth ten times harder for yourself. Rather, look at life and the challenges that follow as opportunities of development and growth. Ya don’t need to put a cap on yo’ dome, you know what i’m sayin’?

#4) Flow…but know where to direct it

Life flows. Life is similar to a stream that leads down to a mountain’s basin. Life is also however, not meant to be sat on without making some risks, changes, nor putting in mad effort and hard work. The stream will always be flowing forward, dont’ you worry. Now whether you want to flow into rocks, debris, or off the waterfall is completely up to you. While you cannot flow in reverse, you can direct the direction in which you flow forwards. As you redirect your current, you will also come across resistance, obstacle, sharp ass rocks, and a big, mad mamma bear ready to murk your shit. Don’t let these things phase you, as you can drift around the bear, and you can power through the debris and rocks on the sediment. Remember the end goal. It does not matter what comes up or pops up, since they’re in that same flow as you. The flow is continuous, just be sure to steer left or right when needed!

#5) Perseverance

Perseverance will always prevail. No matter the task, challenge, obstacle, if you persevere, You will, oh hold up my bad. YOU WILL ACHIEVE WHATEVER IT IS YOU SET YOUR MIND TO! Now, to  persevere also means you must understand patience. You must have patience for that drive, for that passion. Nothing great happens overnight, But if you persevere through those cold, long nights, before you know it (sometimes even realize), you will look up, back, then forward again and say to yourself, “Damn. I remember planning and working towards all of this….worked so hard that I forgot that growth and challenge was going to be hard”! Nothing feels greater than seeing all those long days of research, hard work, determination, effort, passion, patience and perseverance right in front of you. Congratulations!!!

Now, there are obviously many, many more ways that you can lift the veils of limitations, but these are the five ways that I can directly relate to everyone. Trial and Error should be expected-greatness develops and is not instantly manifested. Don’t fret if others seem “ahead” of you. Remember, we all grow and develop at different paces. We all have our shot at life, and it’s solely up to each and every one of us to reach our fullest potential- and a great start is lifting barriers and limitations that society and ourselves set on…. well, ourselves! Keep going, you’ve got this.

4 great Ways to “Ground” yourself

As we go through life doing our thing, sometimes things start to hit the fan and it could very well seem that life is crashing down on you suddenly. Don’t fret, however! The next 4 things I’m about to talk about will help dramatically with the stresses that life occasionally throws at us. You can add in your own techniques and incorporate them into these, or even develop your own grounding techniques. These 4 are the ones that just happen to be the ones I use myself for grounding.

#4. Walks in general

Sometimes, it takes having to slow down, and taking things…easier. Your heart and/or mind could be racing from what you’ve been experiencing in the past day, week, month, moment, you name it. walking is a great way to “ground” yourself. You are able to bring yourself back mentally, you get fresh air, you definitely get exercise, and you can even shake off feelings of anxiety or depression! For me, walks are my first go-to in the case or event i’m stressed or needing to freshen up. I take my time to absorb myself in the surrounding nature and after 30 or so minutes, I feel refreshed and ready to jump back into anything! The rest of my day goes smooth, I am in a calmer state of mind, and I feel as if I can accomplish any task or challenge thrown my way. I can’t stress walking enough.

#3. A warm shower

This is something we all already do without putting too much thought into. Other than being a means to clean and refreshen ourselves, Baths/Showers can help us mentally clean ourselves as well. Showers can be seen as a form of meditation, for example. While you’re showering, you can visualize the water that’s beating down on your dome is washing away any stresses, negative thoughts, feelings,  all of which at the end leaves you with a feeling of renewal. You can also get to the bottom of alot of your own habits or thought forms  by “talking” with yourself or higher self while showering. At the end of your shower, you will understand alot more about yourself than you did before you took that shower. Awesome.

#2. Stretching

Stretching is boss. Stretching is free. Stretching is convenient. Stretching is something we all do, but we do not consider how it can help soothe our minds. When you stretch, you strengthen your tendons, loosen your muscles, and you become more flexible of course. Mentally because of the increased bloodflow throughout the body, You can have a clearer head along with the added perk of a new perspective on what was stressing you out prior to the stretching. The reason I placed stretching as Number 2 is because of how conveniency factor. You can do it anywhere at any time! You also generally don’t have major rules or guidelines to follow, so you can be as creative as you can be with your stretching techniques. Experiment with different stretches and once you find the few that really work and click with you, you’re golden.

#1. Bringing awareness

This has earned it’s spot here, simply because for us to feel that we need to ground ourselves, We have forgotten or “lost” our awareness to our surroundings for the time being. this right here can also be done before the other 3 entries, which when completed, can make the others easier and more effective. The first thing you want to do is to look around yourself. Look for 5 things that you can physically see. These things can be anything from a chair to a tree, to a car to a cat to a speaker. anything that you can see with your own 2 physical eyes. The next step is to find 4 things you can Touch. Clothing, a book, yourself (LOL),  T.V. remote, just 4 things you can feel for. After that, Listen for 3 different sounds. Birds chirping, The neighbors getting their love on, the trees rustling in the wind. After that try to sniff out 2 different smells. Your farts or your air freshener will do. Lastly, try to find one thing you can taste. FOOD. After you have done these steps, you should not only feel in control again, but you will be more so at peace, and you can even share what you did with another friend or person in need of grounding.

These 4 activities are what I personally do to help ground myself when life seems to be going crazy or I just can’t handle myself at the moment. I feel that for myself that these 4 activities always can do the trick to bring me back down to reality. I hope that these 4 things can help all of you as well. If these things did help, please share them with other’s in need of help. People who suffer from depression or Anxiety I’ve noticed benefit from these things ALOT, but that’s not to say you wouldn’t yourself if you don’t have either or. Enjoy your grounding!

3 Traits for Success & Self Improvement

Hello, Cameron here. MAN, where to start with 2017? it’s only been about 3 months in and I’ve lost a job, figured out what I want to do in life, lost and replaced my wallet and cards inside to name a few things. Hell, while writing this post i’m trying to figure out how I will sustain myself. There is one..or rather 3 things that not only make these huge life changes easier to cope with, but also enable you to look further into yourself to get down to the nitty-gritty on changing the “bad”, thus making way for a new and improved you.

#3. Patience

Patience is quite honestly the SINGLE most important skill to learn in life, as it ultimately leads to a better understanding of yourself, as well as a better understanding of the world we live in. If you are anything like I’ve been, You probably have a short fuse and can go off at any little irritation or annoyance that comes up. This isn’t good if you are trying to progress in your life journey. The universe has a thing for messing with those with impatience, by throwing more frequent, little menial tasks and obstacles their way. Now within those tasks and bumps in the road, we can use them and actually learn quite a few life lessons just from them alone. A good example is how I learned how to save and manage money better. I was so spend happy before hand, and I ended up wasting soooo much money on collectible figurines, clothes, video games, and other shit of the sorts. Once upon learning about the value of patience, I was able to change my perspective on my priorities and my perspective on perseverance. if you want a bit more insight on patience, DeAndre and I talk about it and go a bit deeper on the skill on one of our previous entries. You can check that post out here.

#2. A plan

I’m not talking about some quickie you came up with while high as shit no chasing some Hennessy. What i’m speaking of is a thought-out game plan. This can be a plan for a big life changing decision, a plan for a business, or even a plan for changing the world. The bottom line is that if you don’t properly formulate something that has an aim, a direction… you’ll be stuck, lost, and sad. Very. Sad. If you come up with the proper plan for the change or situation at hand, you reassure yourself that what you are doing will work out (for the most part) in your favor. You also give yourself confidence that your decision is backed up by a solid foundation. Perhaps the biggest benefit from having a solid plan, is that you take a load of stress, anxiety, or tenseness away from whatever the plan is based around. You can work towards your goal with a nice little structure that you set up! Some of the best ideas in existence have come to be through an elaborate plan to make those concepts a reality. Remember, YOU ALL are just as capable as anyone else at making your dreams come true. Plan accordingly, and kick some ass.

#1. Consistency

This one is BIGTIME something that I’ve learned alot about. Through trial and error, I have learned that for anything to be successful you need to be consistent. This means no matter what, you keep at that goal, side grind, hustle, whatever you may be working on. The more effort and time you invest into your own pursuit, the more likely you are to be successful and happy. Not only are you making progress and advancing in life, you are also forming good habits as well as positive habitual thinking. The second you start to feel lazy about your goal/pursuit, you will most likely sit on things you need to be improving and working on. If you get to that point, it’s always good to take a step back to see where you’re going and where you have come. That way, you avoid negative habitual mindsets and thinking, while even inspiring & giving yourself some good ol’ motivation! The choice is all up to you. No one can force you to be consistent, however from my experience consistency is the key to accomplishing anything!

These are 3 traits that can help you spiritually, mentally, or both. no matter where you apply these 3 traits, you will advance in your pursuit, no doubt. I do want to add in however, that I urge everyone and anyone to research these concepts. With research comes a better and clearer understanding! These traits are what I’ve learned so far this year, 2017. I hope that whomever may be reading this got some useful information, and that this has helped you advance, be it yourself, your pursuit or both! Peace out!

7 Tools You Need For Spiritual Growth

If you’re just starting out on a Spiritual Journey, we feel you. It’s extremely overwhelming as it is beautiful. You’ve either seen, heard, felt or experienced phenomena that contradict everything you stand for and believe in. You’ve been exposed to the metaphysical side of reality and you have questions, realizations, confusion, and you want some guidance. It’s okay to seek help from people that have been through it. Here are some of our greatest tools on adapting to this new transition. However, keep an open mind because everyone learns differently.

 #7 Self-Awareness

This is arguably the most important piece of spirituality as a whole. You’re reality is merely a reflection of your subconscious beliefs, opinions, fears, and desires. During your Journey you’ll come face to face with some of your deepest insecurities and past traumas. It’s not all psychedelics and euphoria. You’ll have to experience heaven and hell. As well as the fact that they both reside within you, constantly manifesting into different forms. One of the biggest roadblocks in any journey of enlightenment is one’s own ego. You have to be aware of your own faults and illusions to be able to grow and connect with your higher-self. Self-awareness leads to self-awareness, which leads to just overall greater awareness of life and your place in this universe. The hardest part is actually owning up to your own bullshit. Mistakes are learning lessons, and faults our just opportunities to grow your soul. Playing the victim and validating every move may feel good in the short-term, but at the end of the day you are just stunting your own potential.

#6 An Open Mind

Lets be frank, When shit starts happening that challenges your beliefs you have two options. You can curl up back into the comfort zones of ignorance, or you can lift the veil and embrace a new reality. We are part of a great awakening in humanity, and a new conscious awareness is starting to emerge. As a whole our species is about to shift and a crazy new direction, and you can resist it or flow with it. Things are getting pretty strange and alot of old institutions and ways of thinking are being challenged. Thats why its good to be open minded and able to accept new information as its presented. Adaptability is one of humanities greatest strengths. Without an open mind we wouldn’t have all of the amenities we enjoy today. Ancient paradigms had to be dismantled to make way for a new and improved world.

#5 Research

This is the most overlooked aspect of a lot of spiritual journeys. While experience is the ultimate teacher, research can provide you a road map and stability. Occult knowledge is extremely difficult if not impossible to understand for the uninitiated mind. Without doing research into alternative history, most concepts will seem too abstract or even invisible. Sometimes the answers to your problems are right in front of you but it just takes the proper awareness to see it. Research provides that awareness, as long as the seeker remains vigilante to disinformation. As a seeker of knowledge, it is important to take what you find with a grain of salt because you will not find the full answer from a single source.

#4 Meditation

This topic has been beaten to death by many Spiritual “Gurus” because its the cornerstone of all self-discovery. We could talk about all of the crazy thing like samadhi, astral projection, OBE’s and all the other stuff in a later article. For now you can check out our previous entry on meditation here. But for now we’ll just state a few basic fundamental practices for beginners. Firstly, you need proper expectations of the outcome. You wont be a levitating, fire shootin’, unfuckwithable yogi master in your first few weeks or even months sometimes. You will however notice a change in the way you handle stress and cope with emotions in the same day. Though you most likely wont actually reach a trance like state until you practice with some consistency, meditation brings wonderful benefits to your life and health. Even if you aren’t into spirituality, meditation gives you much more control over your mind & body.

#3 A Spiritual Network

Speaking of Spiritual Networks, we found this great site called Soulstradamus.com for this exact thing, you should check it out ;). Shameless self-promotion aside, Having other humans around that understand your “crazy” ideas and maybe have  even seen strange happenings with you is invaluable for learning and coping. Especially when some “unbelievable” events occur, its good to have a witness so who can confirm your sanity (or psychic powers). One of the most difficult parts of the journey is when old friendships start to decay and you outgrow your old group of friends. This is normal and necessary to make way for your soul tribe. Don’t worry, the ones that are meant to be in your life will stay with you but parasitic connections will be destroyed in favor of more symbiotic relationships. You will find people that will open the doorway to all new experiences and perspectives. Besides, it’s always good to take a tip or two from someone who is experienced. They can guide you in the right direction and help you avoid the land mines on the way.

#2 Patience

Probably the hardest tool to cultivate in modern society where everything is instant,  but without this you’ll burn yourself out or even start to lose your mind. Everything happens in divine timing and only when you’re ready. If you’re not aware of this —or just don’t actually apply this mindset— you’ll be thrown around like an emotional rag doll. Remember this is just a part of the journey and its only until you learn the lessons that need to be learned. Progression in spirituality takes time and you’ll frustrate yourself trying to rush things. Patience was actually the hardest lesson for me so far on my journey. I would often get frustrated or upset over the smallest rocks and bumps along the way until DeAndre pointed out before my very eyes that I was only hindering myself with all that anger and irritation that followed with hardship, challenge, and change. I could not honestly say that I would not be where I am today if I hadn’t cultivated this skill.

#1 Faith

The basis for divinity and the onset of synchronicity, faith is arguably the key to the ignition of any spiritual journey or experience. It’s the only thing that separates the Gnostic from the agnostic. And this is probably the most difficult concept for an atheist to grasp. These higher powers don’t exist on our realm of perception but we do have ways to “perceive” them. Our pineal gland is basically like a receptor for the spiritual world and it is then interpreted through our emotions. This is why sometimes when in the presence of greater entities you may cry, sneeze, or feel a certain way but be able to provide physical causes. Why certain events and synchronicity occur that may seem like coincidence from the outside but send you a powerful message on a personal level. Why meditation and other spiritual practice lead to incredible transformations within us. Faith moves us closer to divinity while doubt and skepticism keep us trapped in ego. After all faith requires surrender and not everyone is able to handle the idea of a power greater than themselves.

3 things you experience on a spiritual journey

Yo! Do y’all ever think to yourself, and/or about your spiritual journey and wonder, “Am I really on the right track”? Well, this is a question that i’m sure most of us have asked ourselves at some point or another. By nature, us Humans are very curious creatures, and with that curiosity, comes the desire for a confirmation, or simply an answer. these next 3 “signs” are what you can look for, to be a bit more sure of things and yourself in the grand scheme of things.

Ah, good ol’ synchronicities. Have you ever had a time where you were with a friend or two, and as you guys are discussing something spiritual, one of you goes and says, “Man, I bet that we are ALL connected in some sort of deep, intricate way”, and right after one of you say that, that street light next to you guys suddenly turns on? That was no coincidence, that was a synchronicity. Synchronicities, from our experience, are “meaningful coincidences” that occur very shortly or instantaneously after something is done, said, or acted out upon. These meaningful coincidences aresmall events that can be reassurance that you’re onto something!

No, not the bibbidi bobbidi shit you see in the Disney movies. I mean MAGIC. Things will happen to you or around you that will most likely have you thinking, “How in the actual fuck”?? These things can vary from seeing something that should very clearly and obviously not be in a particular place/setting/enviroment,etc. You could have been hella blazing and then ask, “Where’s the lighter?”, only for that shit to suddenly be in your jacket pocket you never, ever use, only for you to get up to ANOTHER damned lighter falling out of the wrinkles of your shirt UNDER your jacket.

Triggered Events

Say you JUST started your spiritual awakening, and all of a sudden, within the first week, you meet a witch, learn magick is real, sense your first spiritual entity, and learn that there is so much more to reality than you previously thought. These are all Triggered Events. events such as these are events that are thrown in your journey, to help change your perspective, or to give you a higher perspective. These ‘bigger than life’ events are the sole events that totally and can very well change your world view, your understanding, or even further your curiosity for…well, consciousness!!

Although these descriptions are brief, these are some of the most common things that individuals experience on their spiritual awakening/spiritual journey. These things vary from person to person, however, these 3 encounters are things that are most commonly shared experiences between individuals. Have you ever had one, two, or even all 3 of the things mentioned above happen to you? Do you have an expirience that is seperate or different from these all together? Let us know in the comments below, fam! On that note, take care, and I hope all of you have a very awesome rest of your week. Peace!

How to Manage Stress At Work as a Millenial

Mondays, oh Mondays. That one day at the start of the week that has you feeling like crap, a bit hopeless, and pessimistic. You wake up at 6am, to a screeching alarm. You take your morning piss, wash up, dress and dip out of your home. You drive to work in a commute that should take 15 minutes but takes an hour due to traffic.

Yeeah. I’d rather wash the whip.

You sit here, through this schedule you are oh so very accustomed to, and you hate it. You dread hearing Susie over here going on and on about how much she just loves the weekend but it’s not long enough. You despise the “small talk” that goes on at the job site. You question the rules and policies that are in place. You’re tire of doing all the work while your superiors take the credit like a forger charging more than the original for his non-authentic piece of shit . You then question yourself: “Is this job really worth this amount of stress and effort?” “Will I ever make it out of this dead end?” “Does that thick ass white girl wanna smash?” Ohh shit no… thats just Olgah from the head office.

“How Do I Stay Positive ?”

Well, for starters, you can change your perspective on your job. Rather than sulk in your pit of depression, you can look at the good that comes from work. Beyond the typical job skill you learn how to building your social network,  how to build patience, how to observe your co-workers and learn things from them that could improve interactions in your own life. For example, I work in a mailroom for a bank. While on the job, I get to see all of the other departments and how they run. As I do my duties, I pay attention to the small interactions that go on, and I incorporate what I learn into my own interactions with family, friends, and strangers. It helps build my confidence, and makes me more socially adept.

Strategic procrastination

“It’s not working…. Can i go home?”

You guys are gonna love this one. It’s where I take my sweet ass time doing normal duties, then when questioned, I simply ‘push the blame’ on the task that was at hand. For example, If I’m questioned about my time, my excuse will be, “I was waiting on some mail, It appears to be a special hand delivery for the SVP of the PCS department”. I then provide ‘proof’ by using an older inner-department envelope and put the mail in there, to seem as if I am keeping up with the flow. *I only recommend the tactic previously stated if you work at a slow-paced job. The faster the pace doesn’t always mean more leniency on your end*.

Work state mindset

If you do work in a faster paced environment i recommend “Full Absoprtion.” Totally opposite from the last tip (Can you tell there are multiple writers?) Basically, you focus all of your attention on the task at hand.

It seems counter-intuitive but your mind can only focus on one thing at a time. So if you pay closer attention to detail and keep yourself busy, you wont have reason or time to be bored. The time goes by faster, you do a better job, and you’ll have better head space to entertain yourself WITH your work. You can go from little Johnny pissed about never getting a promotion and hates his work, To motivated Johnny thats passionate about work and is rank to be CEO vice kiss ass. Just kidding. But it will increase your productivity and happiness.

In the future, most likely on the Forums, I will have more tactics for work survival up. Due to my already limited time and use of a computer or my phone, I gotta plan that shit smart and lowkey around the work schedule, so for now, hopefully this Blog entry was at the very least, entertaining. On that note, peace out! Don’t let the job steal your happiness! Grind it out, work towards YOUR passion, and thrive!

Easy Medition Technique. Getting Into a Trance

Contrary to popular media, meditation is not just bald ass monks wearing saffron robes while staring off into the mountains. For most people its seen as kinda weird and not seen as something particularly useful. Others see the benefits of it but think it takes forever to learn or that meditative “states” are for Zen masters that have practiced in the forest for years. The truth is that you probably go into hypnotic states multiple times throughout the day without realizing it. The key to meditation and what makes it so powerful is the awareness of the states. I’ll explain more below.

The strongest reference to use, and I’m sure most people have experienced this, is Hyper-Focus. Have you ever been playing a video game, driving, or doing some focus intensive task and everything seems to go slo-mo. If you’re particular self-aware, you notice that you can store a lot more in your short-term memory and there seems to be no mental blockage. You have a sliver of health left and you turn around and outskill your opponent. Or you’re racing some douchebag in a ricer ass honda perfectly avoiding traffic and accounting for grip, traction, response time and other factors that you didn’t even know you knew about. This the state of hyper focus. For most people its brief and passing, only being accessible when needed. These are how most state changes occur, based off of external stimuli and habitual reactions. All it takes is for you to dedicate your entire focus and absorb yourself into the activity—Which, if you havent practiced meditation before hand, is pretty difficult—and to have the proper posture to keep the state. I brought up hyper focus as it’s the most noticeable state and familiar state to most people. Now how do states benefit you? how do you control them to your advantage? I’ll explain,

Meditative State

Tying in the information presented, to successfully shortcut the meditation learning curve, you must understand the meditative state. Unlike Hyperfocus which is an active state, a meditative state is more passive. Rather than engage and absorbing yourself into something in particular, your goal is to engage and absorb yourself into nothing. Which, as a sentient being, you have no concept of nothing and the closest you can get is an awareness of nothing. And there lies the key. Being in a state of awareness of nothing. Sounds confusing at first but understanding that concept makes meditation simple. You come to a realization that being is all there is. There cannot be anything which can confirmably exist if there is no awareness to acknowledge the existence. Nothing cannot be a concept without a sort of sentience to be aware of the nothingness. In simple terms you are becoming aware of awareness. If you can do that, you have successfully meditated. Not the craziest concept ever. But being skipped over, a lot of people fall into a pit of atheism and/or religious, political, mental slavery.

A simple trick is to focus on your breath. Whenever your mind drifts from your breath just gently guide your attention back to it. Dont give up if you keep getting distracted. Thats expected, most of us have cultivated thoughtlessness as a skill yet. Pretty soon you’ll notice a slight shift in your state of mind. You’ll notice that you’re a bit calmer and that you have this sort of “High”. The high doesn’t last long but all day you notice that you have a lot more patience and your mood is a lot more stable. You can tackle obstacles more efficiently and focus much better. These are just a few of the benefits of basic mindfulness meditation. We’ll release more posts on meditations in the future as it is such a fundamental part of spirituality and self-improvement. But for now leave a comment and let us know what you think, any tips or recommendations. Also feel free to login/register and head over to the forums.

What is your perspective on God?

Throughout time, humans have conceptualized and have tried to fathom “God” or a Creator. Great philosophers and everyman alike have all come up with thoughts, ideas, and perspectives to try to explain what or who God is. We all have different views, beliefs, and perspectives on God, but landing on this website, i’m sure YOU personally don’t fit into the standard religious mold. Also— judging by your interest in spirituality and the occult— you’ve contacted, seen, felt, or experienced something you could only credit a higher power or God! What are your thoughts and feelings on God? Do you believe in a higher power? Do you believe science and natural law is the ultimate truth? Do you think any notion of a bearded man in the sky passing judgement is bullshit? Speak your mind!  Leave a comment below or feel free to register for an account and head to the forums.
